Remote teaching started today, my class included. I decided to dedicate this post with resources available for you!
Department of Education: Everything that has to do with our public school system will be posted here.
Within this link you'll find:
-A link for remote learning devices, if you or someone you know need to borrow a device to help your child during this time please fill out this form. It is available in 10 different languages.
-Regional Enrichment Centers: These childcare centers have been designed to help serve our First Responders during this time of need. If you or someone you know in the medical field, transit worker, or another field that is considered an essential employee, need childcare services please read and fill out the information here in the link below.
-Free meals: click here to find a site by you providing free meals for children
Burger King is currently giving out 2 free kids meals with the purchase of a regular meal. Must sign up on their website to receive the coupon, and it can only be used for take out. No deliveries.
Scholastic Learn at home: Free day to day projects that you can do at home.

If there are other resources or websites you would like to recommend please feel free to share in the comments below. Also feel free to share how your first day of learning at home went. I will continue to share as things come my way, also remember when doing home learning to make it fun for the family. Keep them engaged and also remember to take care of yourself too.
