Hello everyone! Hope today finds you all well. Easter is coming up this weekend and I know being cooped up at home takes away from the fun celebrations. I know for most city kids, my students included, schools plan out a full week of activities, so for me it breaks my heart to know that I have a group of kids at home that probably wont get to experience an egg hunt, or decorate their own basket. But it also occurred to me how easy it is to make some of these things at home. So today I'm going to show you guys how to make bunny ears.

Materials:

ree
  • Paper plate

  • pencils/ markers/ crayons/ pens (Basically whatever writing/ coloring tools you have)

  • Scissors

Directions:

1) Take the paper plate and fold it in half.

2) Draw a half a circle, and before you close the circle, draw a bunny ear. The picture below shows you what it should look like.

3) Keeping the plate folded in half, use the scissors to cut along the line you drew.

4) When you finish cutting, unfold the plate, and you'll have both ears cut out nice and even.

5) Using markers/crayons/etc. you can color in the inside of your ears, or have your little one color and decorate it as they see fit. If the whole family is in on the fun, make sure everyone writes their name on their hats. Remember this motivates children to claim ownership of their work and name writing practice.

And there ya go, easy to do bunny ears. Now this is just one way to make bunny ears. If you know another way, or if you want to share your ears with us please feel free to do so in the comments.
